The girl who hung in there as a virgin through the whole book Regional Singles Halloween Dance just came out in People magazine that she is having sex with random people also.
blah! sometimes in my most bitter moments(there are a few)i wonder if its all just a big joke. spend a life of celibacy and find out it really DIDNT matter. sigh.
Here in Utah we don't really think about it because there are Mormons EVERYWHERE! I think it's the temple marriage thing that does it. You HAVE to get a temple marriage, which means you HAVE to marry a Mormon or someone who you can convert. In the rest of the country, and world, where Mormons aren't so densely populated it comes down to settling for someone, or spending your life alone. Personally I think that's asking too much of anyone, and why I'm sympathetic to the gay population in the church as well, they and single adults are pretty much just told they have to remain alone fir the rest of their lives with the promise of finding their eternal companion after they die.
I agree, very sad. Its too bad so many people have bought into the ways of the world.
